Abstract:

Fluctuations in female hormones have a complex influence on gum health. Pregnancy greatly influences the health of the whole body, including the gingival tissues, and correlates with a high degree of carious and gingival damage.

Performing regular dental check-ups to keep plaque under control, along with maintaining personalized hygiene at home, can lessen the impact and risks of hormonal fluctuations on the gums.
