      <Abstract>The Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948 was the basis for the formulation of patients__ampersandsign#39; rights, which are found in different forms in the laws of countries at international level. By formulating these directives, the autonomous patient with the right to self-determination takes part in the medical decision, the relationship between the doctor and the patient being a partnership. Knowing the rights of the patient is essential and encouraged for both doctors and patients.</Abstract>
