Methods: This research on a descriptive correlational quality was carried out with 718 students maintaining their university education in Turkey on May-June 2020. The data were collected online using Descriptive Question Form, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and Emotional Eating Scale. Statement of participant was regarded for bodyweight and height measurement values. Independent t-test, ANOVA Test, Pearson correlation and Multiple Regression analysis were used for interpreting the data. Ethical principles were regarded at all stages of the study. Results: Totally 718 university students including 136 (18.9%) males and 582 (81.1%) females with a mean age of 21.51±7.08 participated into the study. The total score average of the Emotional Eating Scale was found to be 47.30±20.63. It was determined that the average score of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory was 40.24 ± 5.72, and 46.7% of the students had low, 52.6% had medium and 0.7% had high level anxiety.
