The patients' rights
Author: Dr. Rajka Mária
Category: Medical
Abstract:
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948 was the basis for the formulation of patients' rights, which are found in different forms in the laws of countries at international level. By formulating these directives, the autonomous patient with the right to self-determination takes part in the medical decision, the relationship between the doctor and the patient being a partnership. Knowing the rights of the patient is essential and encouraged for both doctors and patients.
